Program Info: The gripping stories and legendary characters of the popular fantasy series "Game of Thrones" and "House of the Dragon" are brought to life musically at this concert.
With over 150 performances in four countries and thousands of spectators, the successful concert series "Game of Thrones - The Concert Show" has already proven to be extremely popular. Now, in combination with the successor series "House of the Dragon", another unique shower experience develops.
The soundtrack - a masterpiece: The Emmy-winning Soundtrack for "Game of Thrones" is musically outstanding and also deeply embedded in the narrative. Ramin Djawadi's masterpiece shines with tense sequences that are perfectly matched to the characters and their trips. With every powerful tone of the iconic title melody and the haunting topics that drive the plot forward, the audience is drawn into the turbulent world of Westeros. The soundtrack of "House of the Dragon", which illuminates the deep roots of the Targaryen dynasty, also offers new and fascinating sounds and topics.
A composer with a visionary talent:
Ramin Djawadi, the talented composer from Duisburg, has developed and found a distinctive style after learning from Hans Zimmer. Both his soundtrack for "Game of Thrones" and the "House of the Dragon" not only inspired the fans of the series, but also made him famous worldwide. With every clock and melody, Djawadi has created a sound landscape that touches the heart and soul of the audience and takes them on an emotional journey.
The renowned ensemble of the Cinema Festival Symphonics under the direction of Stephen Ellery now bring these melodies on stage on a large scale. Accompanied by soloists and choir, it takes the audience on a majestic musical journey through the kingdoms of families Stark, Lennister, and Targaryen.
The stories of George RR Martin: While "Game of Thrones" with its gripping story around the main character Jon Snow has broke all records worldwide since 2011, the spin-off "House of the Dragon" is also enjoying immense popularity. The series plays around 200 years before Jon Snow and the family learn strongly about the risk of white hikers. As the name suggests, “House of the Dragon” is the focus of the Targaryen family with their dragons.
