The Wonderful Life of Amélie is the iconic film and its perfect music, dreamed up at the time by Yann Tiersen. Tens of thousands of Amélie fans in Hungary have already demanded several times to be part of a film music evening where the original music can be heard, but they have to wait until 2025 for this to happen. The composer - although he has already given concerts in Budapest 3 times - unfortunately never once delighted them with the tunes they really wanted to hear.
That's why Grammy Award-nominated piano and accordion artist Claudio Constanini thought big and with his symphony orchestra finally created the production that became truly unique and that we all wanted. The film's music is extremely popular all over the world, so the performer, who has already shown his outstanding talent in 30 countries, will now travel the world again.
At the more than one and a half hour long concert, we can relive Amélie's Wonderful World and - of course, through an actress - but Amélie herself will also appear at the evening, so that we feel even more like we are part of the film and the soundtrack evening. The fact that we managed to get Amélie's original dubbing voice, Anna Györgyi, whose favorite is the world-famous work of Jean-Pierre Jeunet, is just icing on the cake. The live show, also laced with film interludes, can finally be a worthy successor to the film that became iconic in 2001, where, unfortunately, only for one evening, but Erkel theater will host The Wonderful Life of Amélie.
