Program Info: The legendary Argentinian composer, multi-instrumentalist and two-time Oscar winner Gustavo Santaolalla will bring his iconic album 'RONROCO' to the Queen Elisabeth Hall in Antwerp on October 29. During this concert he celebrates the 25th anniversary of the album that catapulted his career and is a milestone in the world of music and film.
Santaolalla's impressive career, awarded with 2 Oscars ('Brokeback Mountain', 'Babel'), 2 Grammys and 19 Latin Grammys, has made him one of the most influential names in the international music world. His album 'RONROCO', released 25 years ago, introduced his unique style worldwide and led to collaborations with top directors such as Alejandro González Iñárritu and Walter Salles. For the first time, Santaolalla will perform 'RONROCO' in its entirety live, supplemented with other highlights from his rich repertoire. Audiences can look forward to music from award-winning films and series as well as his iconic work for video games, including the soundtrack of 'The Last Of Us'. The HBO series of the same name, based on the popular video game and starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, received critical acclaim for its compelling story, complex characters and brilliant use of music.
