Program Info: Tribute concert to the most beautiful music and songs from the masterpieces of Japanese animated cinema. Studio Ghibli films (GRAVE OF THE FIREFlies, CHIHIRO, TOTORO, ARRIETTY, MARNIE...) and other masterpieces (AKIRA, YOUR NAME, GHOST IN THE SHELL, PAPRIKA, THE WOLF CHILDREN...) A journey and a rare bubble of emotion, at the heart of the musical universes of Joe Hisaishi, and of all the composers who worked for these masterpieces of Japanese animated cinema. Reinterpretations by the Neko Light Orchestra, the first group in the world to cover these classics (since 2013).
The Neko Light Orchestra is a collective of 20 musician-composers, created in Toulouse in 2011. Melodic rock orchestra specialising in re-interpretations of music from French cultures 'Imaginary.
The group is distinguished in the worlds of science fiction and fantasy such as Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, the animated films of Hayao Miyazaki... Created by Nicolas Chaccour, the collective quickly took on this form of a rock group "which thinks it's an orchestra" and re-interprets numerous music, but always with the aim of creating new versions.
After debuting in Cultures de L'Imaginaire conventions and “geek” conventions, the group quickly found its place in cinemas and then in the most beautiful concert halls in France and abroad.
After more than 400 concerts and 450,000 spectators, the group cultivates its uniqueness, always with great success with the public.
