Immediately after the opening of the new Bern Festival Hall in the BERNEXPO area, we will be showing one of the most popular films in the Bond series, Casino Royale (2006). The special feature: The film is accompanied by the Bern Symphony Orchestra, which plays David Arnold's action-packed soundtrack live and provides musical goosebumps. In Casino Royale , based on the very first James Bond novel by Bond creator Ian Fleming, Daniel Craig slipped into the role of “007” for the first time and immediately established himself as a top-class Bond actor. We follow the secret agent in the service of Her Majesty to Madagascar, Venice, Miami, the Bahamas and Lake Como as well as to Casino Royale in Montenegro, where Bond has to prove his skills in a poker tournament in order to defeat his opponent Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen).
