With a homage to the Italian grand master of film music, Marcos Morau, who was named Choreographer of the Year 2023 by the magazine “tanz”, returns to the Festspielhaus with his own production! Known for his surreal imagery, Morau creates playful imaginary worlds and poetic landscapes. In his new production "Notte Morricone", he bows to Morricone's work together with the dancers of the Aterballetto, which is considered Italy's leading contemporary dance ensemble, and the Tonkunstler Orchestra under the direction of Maurizio Billi, and at the same time creates his own personal narrative cosmos.
