Funny, irresistible and heartwarming - "Love Actually" is set in London in the run-up to Christmas and tells a variety of interwoven love stories - sometimes romantic, sometimes sad, sometimes silly, but all charming in their own way . After celebrated performances in previous years, we are presenting this classic again this year at the KKL Lucerne.
Everywhere you look, love seems to be causing chaos. From the new bachelor prime minister who falls in love 30 seconds after entering Downing Street; about an unsuccessful sandwich delivery man who has no chance with girls in the UK and so moves to Wisconsin; of an abandoned writer who flees to the south of France to nurse his broken heart; of an ageing rock star determined to make a comeback at any cost;
of a bride who is distressed by her husband's best man and of a married woman who has problems with her husband; about a student who has a crush on the prettiest girl in school and his stepfather who has a crush on the mother of one of his son's classmates.
"Love Actually" has become a beautiful Christmas tradition for many - now you can experience the film in a unique way: The 70-member City Light Symphony Orchestra plays the touching music by Craig Armstrong while the entire film is shown on the big screen.
