"The Peasants" is the latest film by DK Welchman and Hugh Welchman , the creators of "Loving Vincent" , which became the Polish candidate for the Oscar in the best foreign film category .
Łukasz "LUC" Rostkowski , winner of many awards and recognition both in Poland and abroad, is responsible for creating the soundtrack for the film. Now, together with the Rebel Babel Film Orchestra, it invites you to concerts of the "Chłopi" project.
Compositions written especially for the film bring to life traditional Polish sounds and authentic folk instruments. The whole creates beautiful film music that pays tribute to Polish tradition. It is a real journey back in time, during which a contemporary approach to forms and arrangements meets the authentic sounds of folk instruments.
Many folk artists - domestic and foreign - joined the "Chłopi" project. In addition to the Rebel Babel Orchestra, the soundtrack was created by, among others: Maria Pomianowska, Laboratorium Pieśni, Sutari, Dagadana, Kayah, Kwiat Jabłoni, Tęgie Chłopy, Svahy etc.
