Filmmusik-Konzerte "Höhenflüge" (Flights of heights)
Sinfonieorchester Rhein-Main conducted by Christian Fere - Bad Kreuznach Kursaal

Program Info:
What would a film be without music? Unthinkable. But music without film? Wonderful! The images come to life in your mind's eye - the concert stage becomes an imaginary cinema hall. This year, the Rhein-Main Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Christian Ferel has, among others, the films “Lord of the Rings”, “Mission Impossible”, “ET” and “Back to the Future” on its program, but also the classics “Star Wars “ and “Pirates of the Caribbean” are of course not to be missed. The program is framed by two movements from the suite “The Planets” by Gustav Holst: at the beginning “Venus, Bringer of Peace” and at the end “Jupiter, Bringer of Happiness”, both things that we all want so much together.

With music from Howard Shore, Lalo Schifrin, John Williams, Alan Silvestri, Klaus Badelt, Hans Zimmer, Gustav Holst and others

After the last concerts, the press wrote “Entertaining and of high musical quality” and “The concert thrilled the audience so much that there was minutes of applause and a standing ovation at the end.”

The Rhein-Main Symphony Orchestra was founded in Ingelheim in 2015. The orchestra is now known far beyond the borders of Ingelheim and regularly performs in Wiesbaden, Mainz, Bad Kreuznach, Bingen and other cities in the region.
