Program Info: The Leipzig Philharmonic presents great cinematic classics and brilliant film music – from black and white films to current blockbusters – in a beautiful film music concert.
With a large light show on the stage and epic sound, image and sound merge into an audiovisual work of art. Film and music combined, played live by the large symphony orchestra, provide a real goosebumps experience. Evergreens and favorite melodies from the most famous film scores will be heard! The games played include John Williams - Schindler's List Klaus Badelt / Hans Zimmer - Pirates of the Caribbean Monty Norman / John Barry - James Bond Alan Silvestri - Forrest Gump Lalo Schifrin - Mission Impossible Scott Bradley - Tom & Jerry John Williams - ET, Jurassic Park John Williams - Star Wars and even some Christmas classics like "Home Alone".
The evening will be moderated by Roman Petermann, known from the TV show “All together now” (SAT1) and the well-known series “In aller Friendship” (ARD).
