Concert with visual accompaniment The whole country loves the songs of Isaac Schwartz, Dmitry Shostakovich openly admired him, and his melody from the film “White Sun of the Desert” was the first to be heard in space. The best directors of his time worked with him - Akira Kurosawa, Pavel Lungin, Alexey German, Sergei Solovyov, Vladimir Motyl, Georgy Tovstonogov, Ivan Pyryev, Leonid Yakobson, Mikhail Romm and many others. The author of music for such legendary films as “White Sun of the Desert”, “Star of Captivating Happiness”, “The Station Agent”, “Straw Hat”, “Melodies of the White Night”, “The Brothers Karamazov”, “Dersu Uzala”, in his work he reflected the history of the country in the 20th and early 21st centuries. The composer, who wrote music for more than 120 films, many of which became cult favorites for several generations, masterfully combined drama and lyricism, tenderness and tragedy in his melodies. Not only an outstanding melodist of Soviet and Russian cinema, but also the author of major musical forms: symphonies, concertos for symphony orchestra and ballets, he wrote music for 35 performances and released more than 20 discs. State Prize laureate, People's Artist of Russia, three-time winner of the Nika film award, Isaac Schwartz is one of the most significant Russian composers of the 20th century, whose music continues to inspire and support listeners of all ages.
