Program Info: The sixteenth edition of our successful series “Magic of Movie” will be conducted by Jason Weaver, who will travel from the far north to Darmstadt - the American conductor regularly conducts the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, and he also conducts the Göttingen Symphony Orchestra and the Oldenburg State Orchestra. Classical music, jazz concerts, great musicals, all of this is part of Weaver's repertoire - and so is the film music. Not only blockbuster soundtracks, but also from old master John Williams, will transform the Darmstadt State Theater into an impressive audio cinema, with many ah-moments, flashbacks and surprises.
