Welcome back to the magical worlds of game music, as the Kuopio Symphony returns to some of the most exciting and beloved game scores of all time. Game music is a living and exciting genre with millions of fans all over the globe. In SCORE we take you on a symphonic journey through marvellous worlds and adventures. Get ready for a fantastic evening of discovery for both the avid gamer and the symphony orchestra audience.
The program will include audience favourites like Assassin’s Creed, Sonic the Hedgehog and The Last of Us, as well as new additions from Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda.
Celebrated game concert soprano Sabina Zweiacker will perform several songs, including “Lullaby of Woe” from The Witcher and ”The Dragonborn Comes” from Skyrim.
As always, SCORE producer Orvar Safstrom presents the concert in English.
