Of the many beautiful dance movements written by Antonín Dvořák, the third movement of the "Eighth" is perhaps the most beautiful. In the summer of 1889, he gave his friend Alois Göbl an insight into the composition process: "I've got my head full, if only people could write it down right away! (...) It's easy beyond expectation and the melodies just fly to me...” Korngold was also able to invent melodies, his songs from the opera “Die tote Stadt” became big hits with audiences in the 1920s.
