Joe Hisaishi is recognised as one of the greatest composers of his time. With genius film-makers such as Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahashi of Studio Ghibli, but also Takeshi Kitano or Nobuhiko Ôbayashi, the Japanese composer has explored all genres to finally demonstrate all the magnificence of his orchestral sensitivity, where the few notes of the piano , which he masters to perfection, are never far away.
