Disney in Concert: Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl
Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra & Choir conducted by Gottfried Rabl - Meistersingerhalle

Program Info:
Klaus Badelt - Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl

One of the most original cinema hits of all time returns: The first part of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series, which has conquered the concert halls in recent years, can be experienced again in the Meistersingerhalle in May. Jack Sparrow's eccentric and charismatic appearance as a pirate captain - played unsurpassed by Johnny Depp - has given Disney one of the greatest cinema successes. A film spectacle whose adventurous character was perfectly staged by the two film music composers Klaus Badelt and Hans Zimmer and their unerring sense for the right sound.

Clearly: without the right music, everything would only be half as nice. The original soundtrack has been reduced by the music - because this time it comes live. A festival for all Jack Sparrow fans, made possible by sophisticated technology, a large screen and a fantastic orchestra that has been tried and tested many times over in film music. While the concert hall is transformed into the largest cinema hall in Nuremberg, the musicians of the Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra mutate into daring adventurers - led by "Captain" Gottfried Rabl at the conductor's podium, who will steer his orchestral ship with full commitment.

Film in English with German subtitles
