Program Info: How does an American steppe landscape sound? How do you make a horse gallop musically? What sound accompanies Clint Eastwood's squinting eyes during high noon before he draws his gun? We will deal with these questions in the tried and tested ON FIRE! way for a whole evening. Michael Forster leads us in stylish costume through the saloons and gold mining towns of the history of US settlers and will of course also ask himself whether and how one can still speak of »cowboys and Indians« in our time. In the musical covered wagon we have works from famous classics such as "Once Upon a Time in the West" (Ennio Morricone), "Winnetou" (Martin Bötcher) or "The Magnificent Seven" (Elmer Bernstein). But newer Western films such as "Django Unchained" (Ennio Morricone) and "The Hateful 8" (Ennio Morricone) are also included in our program. Of course, one cannot ignore the grand master of the genre, Ennio Morricone. So, get on board and head towards the Wild West.
