In 1926, Lotte Reiniger created with The Adventures of Prince Ahmed one of the first animated feature films in history. Entirely made up of cut-out paper silhouettes evolving on colored backgrounds, the film propels us into a magical world where the forces of good and evil clash. Under the baton of Frank Strobel, the musicians of the Orchestra provide musical accompaniment to these astonishing and poetic images.
