Director Sönke Wortmann combines the historic football event with the story of the return of a prisoner of war. He links the emergence of the football miracle with insights into the social and societal conditions in post-war Germany. We will show the sports film on an evening when there is no EM with the original soundtrack by Marcel Barsotti. And who knows, maybe there will be a Swiss miracle in Berlin at the 2024 European Championships.
