Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw and the Choir of the Warsaw University of Technology conducted by Maciej Sztor - Ergo Arena
Program Info: We invite you to a spectacular Film Music Concert. For the first time, especially for young viewers, the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw and the Choir of the Warsaw University of Technology conducted by Maciej Sztor will perform songs from the films "The Lion King", "How to Train Your Dragon", "Harry Potter", "Kung Fu Panda", "Kraina ice", "Madagascar" and many others. The solo parts will be sung by the soloist Anna Lasota, and the narration will be conducted by Magda Miśka-Jackowska. Junior Film Music Concert tickets for the family interactive multimedia spectacle now available.
Songs performed live by the choir and orchestra, illustrated with film fragments and famous film frames, will introduce symphonic music in an accessible way and guarantee unforgettable musical emotions for the youngest, and for parents will be an opportunity to return to the magical world of childhood.
The concert will present works by outstanding composers, such as: Hans Zimmer, John Williams, John Powell, Alan Menken, Stephen Schwartz and Alan Silvestri, awarded with the most prestigious world awards. Their music, combined with cult films watched by millions of viewers around the world, will remind you of timeless stories and values such as: goodness, nobility, courage, friendship and love.
»The Lion King is one of the greatest soundtracks. Excellent compositional invention harmonizes with the image, reflecting the deepest and most sincere emotions. The combination of the rhythms of African music with the European musical language is perfect not only in the film, but also at the concert. Hans Zimmer put his whole attitude to music in it, combining fun with personal experiences. In the song "Madagaskar" you can hear the continuation of this game« - sums up Maciej Sztor.
The concert will also be a great opportunity for the youngest to develop their musical skills and, together with the orchestra, under the baton of the conductor, perform a song from the movie "Madagascar" in the finale! Everyone can bring their favorite instruments or percussion elements, such as: tambourine, rattles, bongos, drums, and even two sticks - because everything can be used to create sound.
