They fought to find a deserved place in Music and in the World. Florence Price, pioneer and brave, immersed herself in North American symphonic music and raised her voice to transmit the essence of the most authentic melodies of her people. Tchaikovsky clung to the simple joys of life to overcome sorrows in the gestation of his Fourth Symphony. Korngold crossed the ocean in search of another opportunity to show the dramatic sense of his music, the charm of his elegant dissonances and the instrumental virtuosity that Akiko Suwanai will bring to life.
