Symphony Orchestra & Chorus - Rockhal
This concert has been canceled.
Program Info: A tribute to the Italian Maestros! The Morricone Duel From "Once upon a time in the West" of Morricone to Nino Rota's "Godfather" More than a concert, a fascinating two-hour show! Certainly the biggest “Tribute” concert ever! 75 musicians, 20 choristers, cowboys, gangsters, the man with the harmonica and all the others! A concert designed around a selection of classic film music, from iconic westerns to modern mafia masterpieces by Francis Ford Coppola and Sergio Leone, including cult films by Quentin Tarantino. The Wild West meets the melancholy sounds of Italy, New York gangsters rub shoulders with prairie cowboys, The Godfather meets a taxi driver, and the magic of cinema travels thanks to the rich sound of an orchestra and music. a formidable symphonic choir of the highest level. The program is exceptional and takes up the great music of the Italian Maestro, such as "Les incorruptibles", "Cinema Paradiso", "Once upon a time in the West", Le Clan des Siciliens ", but also" One Silver Dollar ", "The Godfather", "Kill Bill", "Taxi Driver" and many more! Two hours of a more than fascinating show! Each performance is the subject of a particular staging, projections, and several soloists enhance the show with their presence: the Sicilian tenor Santo Baraccato in "The Godfather", the Ukrainian violinist-star Bogdana Pivnenko in "Cinema Paradiso" , and of course "the man with the harmonica" and all the symbolic and almost mythical characters!
