At the Jičín Theater you can look forward to film music, which will be played live by the strings of the Prague Film Orchestra , which has been dedicated to film music for thirteen years and will perform in Jičín for the first time.
In the Czech Republic, several symphony orchestras occasionally touch on their repertoire of some popular titles of popular or film music. The body, founded 13 years ago by conductor Jiří Korynta, Prague Film Orchestra, specializes exclusively in the interpretation of the film, or. musicals live on stage.
Throughout its 13-year history, the orchestra has grown relatively, but it has improved in particular. Especially the conductor Jiří Korynt, one of the students or graduates of various music and art schools, got the most out of their performance and taught them how to play this challenging genre in symphonic form. Students still make a significant representation in the orchestra, but are also given the opportunity to play alongside philharmonic or theater orchestra professionals.
The orchestra has performed many times throughout the Czech Republic and has traveled several times abroad, namely to Slovakia and Austria. However, Prague is the most permanent place and the orchestra honors the place of its founding. According to the conductor, at the beginning, the big goal was to get the players up and raise the level of play as much as possible, and then the aim was to introduce the music to people in the famous concert halls.
With music from John Williams, Klaus Badelt, Hans Zimmer, Ramin Djawadi, Howard Shore, John Barry and others.
