Philharmonic choir goes Hollywood

Together with the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, who have already received a Grammy Award in the field of fill music, so predestined for this genre, the Philharmonic Choir will entice the audience into the fantastic world of film music. Many Hollywood classics and blockbusters, but also crowned European and international Film hits form the musical backdrop for this varied concert evening! Be inspired by the magic of film music, and not just as a trained movie-goer!

Star Wars, James Bond - 007, The Hunger Games, Pirates of the Caribbean, the soldier James Ryan, famous westerns like "Play me the song of death" or fine, small studio films like "The children Monsieur Mathieu" To name just a small selection have not only become box-office hits or new German "blockbusters", but their music has also burned itself into our heads and hearts and enchanted us all.

The directors of these films are often world-famous, while the composers of memorable film music are often less familiar to most of them. Many are still familiar with John Williams, Hans Zimmer or Ennio Morricone, but do you know about Klaus Badelt, Monty Newman, John Barry or James Howard, to name just a few representatives of this genre?

The Nuremberg Philharmonic Choir, the Children's Choir of the Nuremberg Children's and Youth Choir, Marlene Mild and the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra will, under the direction of Gordian Teupke, take you into this dreamlike world of famous film music with "Sound of Cinema"!

Gordian Teupke's assistant Gocha Mosiashvili will once again take over the conducting of some pieces and the exciting program will be moderated again by author and entertainer Rolf-Bernhard Essig, who will already present the audience in the Meistersingerhalle at our romantic concert in spring 2019 with his knowledgeable and at the same time moody -fresh comments

Bring your children with you at this not so late hour and let yourself be enchanted by the evening with the whole family!
